We have been training in the martial arts as a family for many years, sometimes at different schools and different styles, we have combined the best aspects from all the schools and incorporated it into what we feel is one of the finest training systems available for the serious traditional martial artist. We will train our students in the use of traditional Okinawa weapons, along with a more modern ,competitive tournament style. We also have incorporated a self defense program for women and children that we feel will help them gain confidence in the face of fear.

Our chief instructor Sensei Pat Reilly graduated from wyoming area high school , served in the United States Marine Corps as a combat engineer and in the United States Army as an infantry scout and tank crewman. he currently operates a remodeling business and owns and operates our karate school.
Sensei Stephen Reilly graduated from Coughlin High School and Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational Technical School in 2008, he is also responsible for the sparring and fight training at the academy. He has won many local and national titles in karate sparring and kata.
Sensei Joshua Reilly is a student at Plains Solomon Junior High School, he holds many championships in sparring, kata and weapons. He has devoted his youth to his training in the martial arts and holds black belts in Shorinji-ryu our schools style and Tang Soo Do, a korean karate style. He is an honors student in school.
While training at our other schools we noticed a need for a class for younger children. In many cases we saw 7 & 8 yr. olds training with adults, or parents wanting to put their children into a 3-5 yr old class as a primer for a future education in the martial arts. It was this need that caused us to incorporate a little warriors class , and divide children by age groups. We believe in teaching with patience, many people or children need a longer time to grasp many skills while others it seems to come to easily, we are willing to take the extra time to help with these needs.
Our goal is that every student that tries with us will gain discipline, respect for him or her self and others, focus and self confidence. These are the traits that are born from martial arts, in many cases a student grades will improve due to the discipline and focus they gain from the training. In our training we stress our young students to work hard in school. " SCHOLAR FIRST, THEN WARRIOR", this is the motto of our instructor, Master Alan Cheung.
